What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis, to put it simply, is the letting go of your Conscious thoughts so that we may connect directly with your deep inner thoughts, your Subconscious Mind.  This is done through relaxation, breathing, imagery, and quieting your mind. When connecting with the Subconscious part of your mind, you will find yourself in a very deep and focused meditative state known as hypnosis.

Is Hypnosis safe?

Yes. Hypnosis is one of the safest experiences you can participate in as you naturally go in and out of hypnosis daily. Your Subconscious Mind also protects you from unwanted suggestions you are not in alignment with. Hypnosis is obtained when you are in a very relaxed or focused state of mind.  Most people reach this state by waking from and drifting off to sleep, listening to music or praying, anything that gets you into the deep meditative flow.

Can I be Hypnotized?

Anyone that has a normally functioning brain can be hypnotized. As a hypnotist, I use various inductions and relaxations to assist different thinkers and relaxers.  Everyone is covered.  Some people may go deeper into trance than others, but the depth of trance is not an indicator of success in change. The suggestions and how it is received will assist in creating new thought processes; a light trance is all that is needed for most. 

What is Hypnosis used for?

Hypnosis has unlimited potential, from simple relaxation to healing trauma and pretty much anything in between.  The list is long as it is the only healing modality that is so versatile and effective.  Hypnosis has been known to clear addictions, sleep issues, weight issues, and phobias, but it is also excellent for physical pains, surgical healing, child birth,  depression, PTSD, hypertension, grief, and the list goes on. Will I loose control

Contrary to popular belief and as portrayed in movies or stage performers, hypnosis will not cause you to bark like a dog or cluck like a chicken. Unless, of course, that is what you are looking to accomplish. Your subconscious mind is your best friend and always looks out for you. It will absolutely help you accomplish all you desire through suggestions and consistency. You will not do, think, say, or create a new habit of anything that is not in your highest and best interest, nor what you intended. 

What can I expect?

Whether your session(s) are in person, via zoom , or in a group setting you will enter into a complete relaxed state of mind. After the session you will still be relaxed, yet not tired, and in a nice state of mind, feeling happiness and contentment. Most clients will feel very ambitious, optimistic and even excited to move forward on a new path. You will receive a recording to listen to each day between sessions or for 21 Days and I am available for chats in between sessions if you need guidance or assistance.
